On June 23, the International Olympic Day, the launch ceremony of the Cultural and Public Welfare Platform of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics - “Saving Every Step of Love” was held in Beijing Shougang Park. 3TREES attended the ceremony as the representative of the charity partner companies.

The event was hosted by the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (BOCOG) and organized by Alibaba Public Welfare and China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA). As a company dedicated to the charity cause, 3TREES will use its brand influence and appeal to encourage the public to join the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics Cultural and Public Welfare Platform and donate their steps on the Internet to build Winter Olympics “Blue Running Tracks” in the elementary schools in the poor countryside of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. 3TREES will also work with CFPA to build playgrounds and running tracks for Yangzhuangke Township School in Wei County, Hebei Province, and contribute its share to the development of sports and the health of students.

During the ceremony, Xu Zhijun, Deputy Secretary General of BOCOG, said that the Winter Olympics cultural and public welfare platform would transform the support of the public for the Winter Olympics into acts of charity through the Internet, and contribute to the development of sports and rural revitalization. It was a clear demonstration of the strong sense of responsibility and compassion of the CFPA and the sponsor companies. The current preparatory work for the Winter Olympics was in full sprint mode and aiming for a decisive victory. He hoped that more enterprises would actively participate and contribute their share to the cause of charity.

China's figure skating world champion Tong Jian and top-rated actress Zhang Junning appeared on the stage as conveners of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics Cultural and Public Welfare Platform. They shared the wishes of rural children and appealed to the public to invest more in the charity initiatives on children's sports.

Afterwards, the 3TREES representative, together with the leaders of BOCOG and representatives of partner companies, pressed the launch button of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics Cultural and Public Welfare Platform. The platform, where the steps can be stored, can be accessed from the Taobao App by searching “Beijing 2022”. Every step donated will bring us closer to the children in the rural elementary schools and bring them closer to realizing their sports dream!
