Recently, the information release and online platform launch meeting of the 2022 Green Building Materials to the Countryside Activities was held in Beijing. With guidance from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Rural Revitalization Administration, the release and launch meeting was jointly organized by China Building Material Council, the Technical Committee on Green Building Materials Product Certification China Building Materials Circulation Association, China Wood Protection Industry Association, China Building Materials Industry Economic Research Institute and China Association of Poverty Alleviation & Development.

The meeting announced the first Batch of the Product and Enterprise Directory for Green Building Materials to the Countryside Activities in 2022, enumerating the partners of the grand event. 3TREES's interior and exterior wall paint, floor paint, SEN Sci-Tech Decorative Board, waterproof paint, and waterproof membrane have made to the list.

According to the requirements of the Circular on Undertaking the Green Building Materials to the Countryside Activities in 2022 issued by the six government departments, those products which producers apply for inclusion in the Directory should in principle have passed the green building material certification.

It It is understood that "Green Building Material Certification" is an important achievement of efforts to promote the implementation of green product certification in the building material field as required by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council. Conducted in accordance with the spirit of the Implementation Plan for Green Building Material Certification and Circular on Accelerating the Promotion of Green Building Material Certification, Production and Application issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as well as other policy documents, green building material certification follows the system of graded certification of green building materials uniformly promoted by the state, and has its unique, rigorous and sound certification processes.

In the meantime, the "carbon dioxide emission peaking and carbon neutrality" targets (the “Dual Carbon Targets”) set by China will further speed up the course of green and sustainable development in the country. Green building materials are the basis for the green and high-quality development of the construction industry. In August 2018, 3TREES received China’s first green paint product certificate, which was issued after comprehensive certification of its paint product in respect of the four dimensions of resource attributes, energy attributes, environmental attributes and quality attributes in accordance with GB/T 35602-2017 Green Product Assessment - Coating Material. The latest inclusion of 3TREES’s products in China’s list of green products to the countryside represents the company’s consistent lead at the forefront of the industry.
